お待たせ致しました！今日は昨日の続きで今注目の英バンド　The Spitfires インタビューの続きです。

Q.7 What are the best music club nights or gig venues in Britain in 2013 (feel free to plug Spitfire gig nights)!

Q.7 今年も残り少ないですが、イギリス国内でお勧めのライブ情報を教えてください（もちろんザ・スピットファイアズの宣伝でも構いませんよ！）

My favorite venue to play and to go to is The 100 Club, Oxford Street. Which of course is famous for ‘everyone who is anyone’ playing there. On a larger scale I really like Hammersmith Apollo – or the Eventin Apollo as it is now called? And also Brixton Academy.

A.7 演奏するのもライブを観るのも、一番好きな場所はロンドンのオックスフォード・ストリートにある100 Clubです。もちろんここは、「誰でもみんな」演奏できることで有名なライブハウスですからね。規模の大きいところだと、ハマースミス・アポロがすごく気に入ってます。今はイヴェンティム・アポロって呼ばれてるのかな？それからブリクストン・アカデミーも。

Q.8 In 2012 we celebrated 50 years of the release of the Beatles’ Love Me Do’. This year will be 50 years of the Rolling Stones following that we have the The Who, The Small Faces (the list goes on and on) right up to the present day. What do you think has kept British music at the forefront for over half a century?

Q.8 2012年はビートルズがLove Me Doをリリースしてから五十年記念の年でした。今年はザ・ローリング・ストーンズ結成五十周年記念。続きザ・フー、スモール・フェイセス……その他たくさんのバンドが現在も活躍しています。ブリティッシュ・ミュージックが半世紀以上にもわたり音楽界をリードし続けている秘訣は何だと思いますか？

I’m not sure anyone can answer that really! I don’t think there’s a particular reason for this, it’s just the way its happened!

Q.9 What are the current projects you are working and which countries would you like to tour/visit?
Q.9 今後の活動予定とツアーで行ってみたい国を教えてください。

We are currently building up to the release of a new single and tour due out early 2014. We really would play anywhere. Live shows are always what it's been about for us and we're prepared to play anywhere for anyone. Obviously we'd love to come to Japan and play. We know how much the Japanese appreciate their music and new bands from England. There's also plenty of places in Europe I'd love to play as well.

A.9 今は2014年初頭に発売されるニューシングルとツアーの準備をしています。ツアーにはどこへでも行きたいですね。ライブはいつでも僕たちの原点だから、どこへでも誰のためにも喜んで演奏しますよ。もちろん日本にも行ってみたいです。日本は独自の音楽やイギリスからの新鋭バンドにとても理解がありますね。行ってみたいヨーロッパの国々もたくさんあります。

Q.10 What makes Britain GREAT?
Q.10 イギリスがグレートである理由は何だと思いますか？

For me, the most valuable thing Britain has is the diversity and the coming together of many different people, religions and cultures. Which is why the appeal for Britain really does stretch worldwide. It also will always be the birthplace of my musical, fashion and cultural roots. It’s those little roads in Soho that are influencing my writing as well as my outlook.
